Well it has been a busy ride so far and now it is getting more exciting. On June 11th my wife and I both graduated from Eastern Washington University and soon after we packed a 26 foot Penske truck an today we are in Owings Mills, MD visiting family and taking a short breather prior to commencing onto our next leg of our move.
The trip began with a long drive from Spokane, WA to Billings, MT where we stayed at a KOA (Kampgrounds of America). Rachel's first experience in camping. From Billings we then traversed through the rest of montana and into Wyoming and then into Rapid City, SD. On day 3 we took a 3 hour detour to Mount Rushmore and see the wondrous granite sculpture. From Rushmore we then stayed over in Sioux Falls, SD. From Sioux Falls to Davenport, IA. In Davenport we stopped by to see the campus and found it, in my own opinion not as beautiful as Florida's campus and I am not one with a lot of people in my cohort. From Davenport we then traveled to Cleveland, OH with no A/C because the sensors in the A/C went bad. After our visit with Bubbie we then traveled to Owings Mills. Tomorrow we then depart for Charleston, SC and then onto Port Orange, FL where our next adventure begins...Looking for a home and starting school
